Going to SXSW?

I'm super-excited to attend SXSW this year. It'll be my first time.

If you're attending SXSW and interested in meeting, here's where to find us:

Sunday, March 9

Jackie: I will be there at SXSW and will be part of the Corporate Blogging panel. Mack will be the moderator. I'll be joining Mario Sundar from LinkedIn and metrics guru (or diva?) Kami Huyse on this panel.

I'll be there. Social Marketing Strategies Metrics: Where Are They? looks like it will be a good panel as well. In the interest of disclosure, I know one of the guys on the panel (Tom Parish). However, after your disambiguation post on social marketing and social media marketing, I thought you might find it of interest.

Jackie, would love to see you again at SXSW this year. Will you be staying into the music week? I'm attending starting on March 11 there promoting our music fanbase marketing platform, FanMail, to music festivals, venues, touring artists, and record labels. I believe we spoke briefly at a WOMMA event last year.

Music marketing is a very interesting microcosm to the world of word-of-mouth and customer evangelism. Rarely will you find true fans more engaged and willing to advocate for a brand (or band as the case may be). Helping music marketers grasp the ideas of augmenting the power of fan advocates is what our FanMail business is all about.
